Intelligent painting robot

NST‑H8 · 9-axis intelligent painting robot

Eight years in development: a gantry-mounted 9-axis arm with AI vision sprays car bodies and batch parts in your existing booth, and applies liquid car-wrap film as well as paint.

On the gantry: a 9-axis arm, guided by AI

The arm travels on a gantry above the workpiece: 9 degrees of freedom with 8 interlinked axes follow the body’s curves and reach where fixed guns cannot. AI vision tracks the part in real time; collision avoidance keeps a safe distance from parts, fixtures and the booth.

  • AI vision algorithms
  • Real-time collision avoidance
  • 8-axis interlinked motion control
  • Dynamic spray-process control

Why NST

Built for the booth you already run

The NST robot spraying a black bumper while door panels wait in the same booth cycle
In production · one booth cycle
  • Batch loading

Doors, bumpers and fenders load together and spray in one run; up to 8 bumpers per cycle on a dual-layer rack (Tesla models).

  • Away from the mist

The robot does the spraying inside the booth; painters spend less time in paint mist and solvents.

  • Fits existing booths

Installs into your current spray booth without major structural work.

  • Fast payback

Based on operating data from existing customers, added refinishing revenue typically covers the purchase within a year.

Two working modes · after-sales system

Mode 1: scan on site, generate yourself

For a new model or part, the robot scans the workpiece and generates the spray trajectory automatically. No manual teaching, no waiting for factory support.

No teach

Mode 2: cloud collaboration

Or send the scan data to NST via the cloud platform; we build a production-ready trajectory and return it to you.

Done for you

Saved and reused

Scanned models and trajectories are stored in the local database automatically; the same model sprays again without rescanning.

Scan once · reuse

Training and support

Hands-on training and tutorials are included, with 7×24 support.

7×24
How it works

Three steps to a finished coat

Step 1

Position

Move the car or parts into the spray zone, fix them and confirm the work area.

Step 2

Scan

The vision system scans the body or parts and matches the model and trajectory.

Step 3

Spray

The 9-axis arm executes the trajectory with tuned process parameters for a uniform finish.

Certified for the booth environment

A spray booth is an explosive atmosphere, and the H8 is built for it: explosion-proof arm and servo motors and a positive-pressure enclosure, certified by China’s national explosion-protection station (NEPSI) and verified against EN IEC 60079‑0.
