Dalian Newstar Automobile Equipment Co., Ltd. (NST), founded in 2005, is a National High-Tech Enterprise and a Liaoning “Little Giant” specialized SME developing and manufacturing intelligent special tools and aftersales equipment. For twenty years we have supplied OEMs with tools, equipment, training and service as one package, serving 100+ car brands and nearly 20,000 dealerships, with exports to Europe, North America and the Middle East.
NST holds 130+ patents and software copyrights. Its self-developed tooling replaces imports and lowers aftersales costs for Chinese car brands. In 2021 the company’s intelligent painting robot launched with invention patents in China, the US and the EU; in 2024 it was selected among the “Top 10 technology products of Dalian” and shown at the World Economic Forum’s Summer Davos in Dalian.

NST founded in Dalian on December 25.
- 2006
Partnership with SAIC Roewe; the first NST-branded special tools developed.
- 2007
Custom tools built overnight and delivered to FAW-Volkswagen in Changchun the next day; a strategic partnership begins.
- 2009
Move to the Double-D Port plant, 20,000 m².
- 2011
Body-and-paint training and aftersales service teams established.
- 2012
Recognized as a Dalian High-Tech Enterprise.
- 2014
Move to the Shisanli New Industrial Area: a self-owned 40,000 m² campus.
- 2015
“NST” recognized as a Liaoning Famous Trademark; 50+ OEM partners.
- 2017
Host of the Geely national aftersales skills competition (body group) for the fourth consecutive time.
- 2018
EV service tooling launched.
- 2019
First China automotive special-tool seminar hosted in Shanghai; 20+ OEMs attend.
- 2020
EV product line reaches 1,000+ 4S stores; partnerships with EV makers.
- 2021
The intelligent painting robot launches, with invention patents in China, the US and the EU.
- 2022
Named a Liaoning “Little Giant” specialized SME.
- 2023
Second China aftersales special-tool seminar hosted in Dalian; 38 OEMs attend.
- 2024
The painting robot is shown at Summer Davos and named a Top-10 technology product of Dalian.
- 2025
Twentieth anniversary: 100+ car brands served, nearly 20,000 dealer partners.
